I understand that the information contained in this application will be retained, stored and used by Tailor Males Sales and Lettings Limited in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) I further understand that due to the GDPR Tailor Made Sales and Lettings Limited are unable to give specific reasoning if my application is declined. I hereby confirm that the information provided by me on this application form is to the best of my knowledge true, and I authorise you to request information on my credit, tenant, banking and employment history or from any third party that maybe necessary for the purposes of processing this application. I understand that the results of the findings will then be presented to the other party and form the basis of any decision on contract between the parties and does not represent any offer between Tailor Made Sales and Lettings Limited and the prospective tenant. Theinformationmaybeusedinconjunctionwiththisapplicationandinthepursuitofdebttracingand fraud prevention. I understand that upon provisional acceptance of this application a holding deposit will be requested of £50 or £100 dependent on monthly rent and understand that the property will not be removed from the market until the landlord instructs the agent to do so. I understand that the holding deposit serves as financial commitment whilst the referencing process is carried out. Upon successful referencing and move in this will then be put towards initial rent and deposit payment. I understand that should I withdraw my application or fail referencing due to misleading the landlord or agent or fail right to rent immigration checks the above holding deposit will be forfeited.
It is also agreed that upon paying a holding deposit you must enter a tenancy agreement within 15 days, unless it is agreed by all parties to be extended. This is known as the Deadline for Agreement. I understand that if I should renege on this I shall forfeit my holding deposit. I agree that Tailor Made Sales and Lettings may pass on any information I have supplied and the results of any linked verification checks to any appointed landlord. Payment can be made by bank transfer to the following account: Barclays Account No. 70792136, Sort Code 20-23-60. Cheques will not be accepted. All refunds shall be paid by BACS transfer only and payments may take up to 14 days to process.
Permitted Payments For Tenants
Tenancy Deposit (Capped at 5 weeks rent), Holding Deposit (capped at 1 weeks rent)
Default Fees once rent is outstanding for more than 14 days capped at no more than 3 percent above the Bank of England’s base rate
Damages Payments lost keys fobs etc at cost
Early Termination fee capped at the landlords reasonable costs
